Aldine is the default theme for the home page of Pressbooks networks. It is named for the Aldine Press, founded by Aldus Manutius in 1494, who is regarded by many as the world’s first publisher.

Aldine is the default theme for the home page of Pressbooks networks. It is named for the Aldine Press, founded by Aldus Manutius in 1494, who is regarded by many as the world’s first publisher. Aldine is based on Underscores.

Installation

1. In your admin panel, go to Appearance > Themes and click the Add New button.
2. Click Upload Theme and Choose File, then select the theme's .zip file. Click Install Now.
3. Click Activate to use your new theme right away.
